at High Meadow Ranch Golf Course.
It was Houston’s #1 rated public course in 2005!
OPTION 1: Join Us As A Golfer
- Commit to raise at least $2500 (or $1500 for first time Golf Marathon golfers) in sponsorship from yourself, friends, family, business associates, and/or corporations.
- Fill out the registration form and send it to the Waking the Passion office.
- Get ready for an awesome day of challenging golf with friends (recruit a buddy!) and other golf lovers who also want to help men connect and grow in their faith, family, and friendships.
OPTION 2: Corporate Sponsorship
Make a business contribution and receive benefits and publicity for your company.
Gold Sponsor $2,500
Includes entire SILVER Sponsor Package plus:
- One entry in the Golf Marathon
Silver Sponsor $1,000
Includes entire BRONZE Sponsor Package plus:
- Two invitations to the Golf Marathon Appreciation Dinner
- Custom plaque of appreciation
Bronze Sponsor $500
- Featured in next year’s promotional materials
OPTION 3: Sponsor A Golfer
All Golf Marathon golfers recruit a team of sponsors comprised of businesses and individuals. Your contribution of $1, $2, $3 or $5 per hole, or any other amount, will help ensure that we can continue reaching out to men throughout Houston.
How Does It Work?
Golfers will tee off at dawn with a goal of playing 100 or more holes of golf by sunset. The rules are modified to create faster play. There is no entry fee in the Golf Marathon! The minimum requirements are self sponsorship of $100 or more, and raising at least $2500 for previous Marathon golfers ($25 per hole for 100 holes) and $1500 for first time Marathon golfers. All golfers achieving the $2,500 goal will receive a $100 gift certificate to the Taste of Texas. Corporate sponsorship also counts toward your total. Waking the Passion will provide training and all materials to help you build your sponsorship team.
How Does It Help?
Through you and your friends’ sponsorship, you are helping Waking the Passion expand our opportunities to impact men and their families across Houston. All funds raised will go directly back to our local ministry. Every hole played, and every dollar raised, will make a significant difference in the lives of men.
