A former TCU football player, Steve’s passions are college ball, cooking on the grill, and hanging out with friends and family. He lives in Houston, Texas with Karen, his bride of 35 years. They have two adult children.
Waking the Passion has been engaging men at some of life’s greatest crossroads since 2005.
Substance use threatened to kill Dave at the age of 38. But it was his son’s suicide attempt and excursion into the drug world that set him on a course to re-vision his life and parenting.
Dave serves as the Operations Director of Waking the Passion and coaches leaders on a range of personal and professional topics. He is also co-hosts the retreat experience, Pause-and-Effect.
Dave holds a master’s degree in counseling and has extensive experience as a therapist and college instructor.
He and Heather have been married for more than thirty years and have three adult children.
